Government of Odisha Organised a State Level Workshop on 'Consumer Protection Act and Its Implementation'


23rd June 2018: Government of Odisha Organised a State Level Workshop on "Consumer Protection Act and Its Implementation" in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The Workshop was inaugurated by Shri Surjya Narayan Patro, Hon'ble Minister, Food Supplies & Consumer Welfare & Cooperation, Govt. of Odisha and was presided by Shri Vir Vikram Yadav, IAS, Commissioner and Secretary to Govt. of Odisha, FS&CW Department and Justice Bijoy Krishna Patel, President, Odisha State Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission.

 

 

More than 140 participants representing all the stakeholders attended the workshop and actively participated in developing the road map to make Odisha the MOST CONSUMER FRIENDLY State in India. The Workshop was facilitated by Mr. L. Mansingh, IAS Retd. Former Secretary to the Govt. of India, Prof Bejon Kumar Misra, Adviser to the Govt. of Odisha and Founder Director PSM India Initiative, Prof. Srikrishna Deva Rao, VC, National Law University Odisha, Prof. M. N. Tripathi, XIMB Marketing Department and Advocate Rekha Agarwal from NCDRC.
