TRICHY, January 2014: Drug controller officials, Trichy, seized 'Vicks Action 500' tablets worth Rs 32 lakh from an unlicensed pharmaceuticals dealer during a raid conducted in the city recently. A case was registered and the drug sample has been sent for verification.

10 kg of pseudoephedrine seized, two arrested in Delhi
NEW DELHI, January 2014: Two people were arrested here along with 10 kg of pseudoephedrine valued at Rs.40 lakh ($64,000) in the international market, police said Monday. Shiv Singh Chauhan, 39, and Ram Ugrah, 57, were Friday nabbed following a tip-off from near the Jama Masjid area where they had gone to supply it to one of their contacts.

SURAT, January 2014: The Food and Drug Control Administration of Gujarat government has found the samples of Ayurvedic medicines collected from Asaram Ashram in Surat to be below standard.
